Children's Ministry at Calvary Chapel

Our children’s church is made up of a number of teachers, leaders and Leaders in Training (L.I.T.’s). We have designed it to work a lot like the adult church but appeal to kids. The program consists of two groups, first is big group which is corporate worship, puppets and teaching. Then comes small group where we split up into 3 groups based on age appropriateness. In small group we rotate into three separate rooms called discipleship room, craft/snack room and Interaction room. This allows for everyone that is working in children’s ministry to use their gifts and talents appropriately as well as the children to learn according their specific learning styles.

Children Learn about God at Calvary Chapel Big Bear
Fellowship, Fun and Praise are taught by the children's leadership team at Calvary Chapel. Please join us on Sundays and Wednesday evenings!
Our first service on Sunday has two classes:
1. Nursery which is Newborn to three years old.
2. Children’s Church is from 4year old to 6th grade.
Our second service on Sunday has 4 classes:
1. Nursery which is Newborn to 1 year olds
2. Toddler which is 2-3 year olds
3. Children’s church 4 years old to 4th grade
4. 5th -8th grade discipleship class
